Life takes many interesting turns. I was at my grandparents' castle this past weekend, and some of my cousins were there who I hadn't seen in years. This part of the family is from Sweden, and naturally, they were all bragging about the Swedish National Team. I'm not a big Quidditch follower at the professional level, but I enjoy the World Cup. That's fighting for Scottish bragging rights! Speaking of, I'd love to know when we find out who will be representing us in the next tournament. Nevertheless, it seems that I'm related to the Swedish seeker. Who knew?

Family connections never cease to amaze. Anyway, I'm quite looking forward to the opening of Beau's hotel this weekend. Dreadful that the idiots at the paper misspelled the name. I'm sure it will be a grand time, nonetheless. I'm quite looking forward to it. Beau, what are reservations looking like for the weekend? I suppose I shouldn't plan to apparate home that night.

What is it with women that makes them totally incapable of surviving a crisis without having an absolute meltdown? It's not like that behavior makes the situation better. No, it just delays finding a solution. I begin to think it's an intentional behavior meant to ensnare men into feeling guilty and helping. Clever, that. Works like a charm.

Too bad if I started having a cry in the middle of a store, people would simply stare and perhaps laugh. They'd call me names, and I'll bet some other men might threaten to beat me up. But if I were a woman, even a big, fat, ugly one, people would still stop to check after me, to see if they could help. Hmph.
